May 26th

Bennett's last day of school. I cannot believe how fast that school year went. Especially since Christmas. I feel like we were just celebrating Christmas and now the school year is over! We got so lucky this year and got the greatest teacher. We love her so much! It is fun because my very favorite picture of all time was my second grade teacher too, Mrs. Payne.

My sister in law "know's someone" as they say. She know's someone that has some connection with Yankee candles and she gets to go to these sales like twice a year. This year I decided I would take advantage of it. I got 6 candles or so, and as much as I use them, that will not last long enough. I love this smell. I actually love everything pomegranate!

Bennett lucks out with so many parties every year!

Bennett had his birthday party with friends today. We were going to only have about 10 people, but then I thought what the heck let's invite everyone! We had a good turn out and they had fun! This is our little neighbor girl. She is so cute I can't stand it. She is fun to have around.

We like making treats around here. Especially ones that the kids can help make. They loved making these and they were pretty tasty too. They are super easy and I am sure everyone has made them before, but just in case you haven't here is the recipe!
6 cups corn flakes
1 cup sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1.5 cups peanut butter
1T vanilla
